Paint Shop Pro, Animation Shop and a graphic.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Preparation:

    You will need to

(A)resize a graphic,

(B)put a border around it,

(E) invert the selection and put a couple

(F) cutouts on it.

(G) Then selections/select none and

Edit/Copy!

I will leave it up to you as far as when you

put the watermark on this.

  Sorry to rush through the beginning but an

Intermediate skilled user should have no

problem with doing that.  Just basics.

Note: The Size that you make it depends on

how you intend to use it in the end.

ok? You did remember to Copy it right?!

Good let’s get to the animation!

1 File/Jasc Software Products/AnimationShop

2 Edit/Paste/ as new Animation or (Ctrl + V)

You may choose to File/Optimization Wizard

or (Shift + Z) at this point.

3 Effects/Insert Image Transition

You will have 5 ani-frames when you do this.

the last frame will be totally transparent!

Settings:

4 Eye Dropper Tool: Select the same

color as you want your whole

background to be when you put it in

Letter Creator.

I think using dominant light one from

the graphic is usually a good choice.

Note: If you are using this for a HEADER

then Animation/Animation properties.

Click Opaque and right click and choose

the same color as your fill from the

bottom left of your color selections.

                            OR                  

      If you are going to use this as a TAG

then you will not want to do the next step

so you can save it as transparent. So do

as above but check the transparent box

instead!

5 Flood Fill Tool: Scroll over to the last

ani-frame and fill this transparent frame

with your chosen color.

6 Eye Dropper: Left click on the top color

box on the far right and select a color for

your font that will look good on the

background color that you used as a fill.

7  Text Tool :  Left click on the same frame

that you just filled and type some Witty

(tee-hee) words.

Note: You may have to undo a few times

to get the text the right size and the kind

of font that you like looking at.

8 Click on the Arrow Tool to get off of the

Text tool.

9 Edit/Select All or (Ctrl + A)

10 Animation/Frame Properties = 20

11 Left click on the last text frame to make it

the only active frame.

12 Animation/Frame Properties = 250

13 Scroll to the First frame and left click

on it!

14 Animation/Frame Properties =550

15 View/Animation

If you like what you see then File/Save As

etc.

Letter Creator HEADER Tips!

Select the background color on the Body Page

by using the eye dropper that is on your

last frame… of course you will need to load

the header beforehand.

  You might want to use the same font color

used in the last frame so it sort of matches.

Up to you Creator!

  Remember to center your header!
